The course I did with Grandpa helped me to first and above all, focus on the most important and basic things from wich my History would grow. To create a supportive world, characters, episodes and so on that it would end up embracing the narrative process making it all much more consistent and complete.
Also, together with the help of Grandpa , we ended up being able to develop what the history I wanted to tell was really about, and giving a fulfilling message about it to the reader.
Working with another passionate and experienced writer like him in the development of my project has always been constructive, positive and finally magic, as the result itself showed to be something greater than initially expected.
Thanks Grandpa!

Biggest challenge for me was piecing together my story elements, while my inner compass was crashing.
I finally understand why theme is so important. You can’t do anything without having a clear idea what the story is about. Once you know your theme, you can make gameplay mechanics, so that it can narrate to your player.
Grandpa Tiger’s process is the holy truth and should be infused into muscle memory of every writer. I don’t think I’ve seen any other person come up with a similar, clear concept. As far as I know Grandpa’s the one pioneering it.

I loved the course! It taught me a lot about developing a story and has helped me with all my writing. It made me rethink a lot of what I’ve already written.
It’s so much easier to go through story planning now with what I’ve learned. It was a good challenge to go about planning a story in a new way, it furthered my understanding for what goes into an interactive fiction game.

I got a lot of valuable information out of my course with Grandpa Tiger. He had great lectures and fitting homework to help ease anyone into the challenging world of writing adventure fiction.
He was an incredible asset in the few places where I was stuck. He has a knack for telling good stories, and will definitely help you bring out the best in yours.

When I stumbled upon Ranko's LinkedIn and website, I was skeptical because I have been writing and publishing novels for years and had taken several in-depth fiction writing courses up until then. I thought there was little more he could teach me that I hadn't already learned. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I was learning from him. Ranko is not only a knowledgable writer, but an excellent teacher as well, and I truly have learned a lot from him despite having thought I was already writing on an expert level. To get what is essentially private coaching from an experienced and skilled professional such as him at the price that I did was truly criminal. Where many other well-known writers will only tell you what you did wrong and not make an effort to help you learn from your mistakes or advise you how you could fix them, Ranko is very understanding and takes the time to work with you to help you grow as not just a writer, but as a businessperson as well. I can now say with confidence that I will henceforth be taking my business to Ranko whenever I find myself in need of a second opinion for my stories until I die.
